This course is
designed to educate the candidates in the skills
and knowledge they require to gain an
understanding in all areas of plastering. |

The topics covered
in this course include:- |

|
Cut and fix
plasterboard to walls and ceilings. |
|
|
|
Taping standard and
internal joints. |
|
|
|
Cut and fix angle
beads around window frames and reveals. |
|
|
|
Surface preparation
prior to plastering. |
|
|
|
Mixing plaster
correctly. |
|
|
|
Skimming walls. |
|
|
|
Skimming ceilings. |
|
|
|
Relevant health and
safety. |
|
|
|
Entry
requirements: |

|
There are no
entry requirements for this course, and
prior experience is not required. |
|

Course
duration: |
|
|
5 days or 2
weekends. |

Modes
of attendance: |

|
Weekdays -
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm. |
|
|
|
Weekend (x2).
Saturday & Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm. |

Assessment

Candidates will
be assessed on both their practical and
theory based sessions throughout the course. |

outcome / Qualification: |

It
is recommended that candidates bring suitable
clothing to change into, and suitable safety
footwear is essential. All other safety
equipment will be provided. |
