Domestic Gas ACS Assessment Modules: |
| |
| Course
overview: |
| |
|
In August 1998,
A.C.S. (Accredited Certification Scheme)
replaced the ACOP's system. The new scheme
includes a core safety module (equivalent to the
ACOP's 1-5), which is a prerequisite to a
further range of appliance modules, which
candidates can choose from, depending on the
type of work they do. |
| |
|
Why must I be
assessed? |
|
To carry out work on
any gas installation or gas appliance, proof of
your competence is essential. To prove your
competence, you MUST hold a valid A.C.S
certification for the type of work you are
carrying out. |
| |
|
Please Note: Training is not a prerequisite for
assessment, and that ALL candidates must hold
valid, up to date CCN1 or COCN1 certification
before they are allowed to progress onto any
other ACS Assessment Module. |
