This course has been
designed for candidates with little or no gas
experience to encourage the safe operations and
installations of domestic gas applications.
Candidates will be trained the practical skills,
knowledge, and understanding to work safely in
the installation, commissioning, and servicing
of domestic gas appliances and pipe work. |

and purging. |
|

Ventilation. |
|

Flues. |

Candidates will
be assessed at regular intervals throughout
the course on both practical skills and
theory based knowledge. |

Course
outcome / Qualification: |
|
|
Successful
candidates will be eligible to progress onto
higher level
ACS Assessment Modules
and seek to gain a Gas Safety Register ID
card which replaced CORGI registration in
April 2009. Any operative who installs,
maintains, modifies, or services any gas
appliance must now hold a valid Gas Safe
Register ID card, clearly displaying the
work that the operative in question is
legally qualified to carry out. |
