overview: |

|
This course is
designed for Plumbers, Heating Engineers, Gas
Installers, and for anyone who installs,
maintains, or modifies domestic plumbing
systems. |
| |
|
Who has to comply
with these regulations? |
|
Owners and occupiers
of premises, or anyone who installs plumbing
systems or water fittings has the legal duty to
ensure that the systems satisfy the Water
Regulations. Advance notice must be given of
proposed installations in most cases, meaning
that Architects, Building Developers, and
Plumbers must follow set regulations on behalf
of future owners or occupiers of the premises. |

Water fittings
requirements. |

Water system design
and installation. |
|
|
|
Commissioning. |
|
|
|
Backflow prevention. |
|
|
|
Cold water services. |
|
|
|
Hot water services. |
|
|
|
WC's, flushing
devices, and urinals. |

|

|
1 day. |

Assessment
methods: |
|
|
Candidates will
receive a course book 3 weeks prior to their
assessment date in order for them to
complete the self learning modules. On the
morning of the assessment date, candidates
will receive a formal tutorial and review of
their completed workbooks. The afternoon
session will consist of a written
assessment. |
|
|
|
Course
outcome / Qualification: |
|
|
Successful
candidates will receive BPEC / WRAS Water
Regulations / Water Supply (Water Fittings)
Regulations 1999 Certification. |
|
