Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Plastering
Course Overview:
The Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Plastering course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and confidence required to work competently within the plastering industry and has been specifically developed for delivery in our purpose built training centre using simulated conditions.
Who is the training for:
No prior training is required for this course which is open to both male and female candidates aged 16 years and over and although it has been designed as a natural progression from the Level 1 Plastering course, it is also available to experienced workers looking to acquire recognised qualifications and certification.
Course Duration:

Topic Areas Covered:
- Carry out safe working practices in construction
- Knowledge of information, quantities and communicating with others
- Knowledge of building methods and construction technology
- Applying plaster materials to external surfaces
- Fix dry lining and plasterboard materials to interior surfaces
- Form sand and cement screeds
- Produce plaster components
- Applying plaster materials to interior surfaces
- Position and secure fibrous plaster components
Training and Assessment methods:
This is a mixture of hands-on practical training and theoretical work, observation, written assessments and examinations.
Course Achievements:
Successful candidates will receive fully accredited Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Plastering certification and qualification.
Additional Information:
Candidates are required to bring suitable clothing and safety footwear when undertaking this course.
