Electrical Testing & Inspection Refresher Training

Course Overview:

This (Training Only) course is designed to refresh the knowledge and skills of existing electricians who work within the Electrical Testing and Inspection (Initial and Periodic) field and is suited to larger companies or contractors wishing to update their workforces compliance with current CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and staff training.

Who is this training course for?

Candidates MUST hold fully accredited QCF qualifications or equivalent in this field, i.e 2391, 2394, 2395 or similar.  If you are unsure, please speak to a member of our Training Team on 01922 612121 who will be able to advise you accordingly.

• Safety Procedures
• Differing types of testing equipment for a range of testing procedures
• Inspection Procedures
• Simple testing Sequence of an Electrical Installation
• Live Testing
• Completion of simple electrical certification

Training Methods:

Training will include practical work performance activities (Practical Testing) and multiple-choice written and short written response assessments.

Course Achievements:

Candidates will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance from Walsall Training Centre Limited.

Progression Routes:

Successful completion of this course will allow candidates to move onto any of the FULLY ACCREDITED QCF qualifications including:-

• Level 3 QCF Initial Verification & Testing of Electrical Installations
• Level 3 QCF Periodic Inspection, Testing and Condition Reporting or Electrical Installations, or 
• Level 3 QCF Inspection & Testing Combined Course (Initial and Periodic)
